Alhamdulillah the blind students have completed the Quranic braille primer and are now starting to read the Quran.'

Alhamdulillah Boarding Collage Al-Basiir School for the blind is one of the places Braille Quran Initiative has managed to support with training and equipment . Their teachers are dedicated, and they help as many children as they can afford to.

Ibn Umar reported: Two men came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and they said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most beloved to Allah? And which deeds are most beloved to Allah?” The Prophet said, “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger. That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah the Exalted will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings are shaken.”

Datin Rohani from Perkim Taman Permata handing over a braille Quran donated in waqaf to our trustee Haji Othman Isa . It will be given to a blind student named Mohamed Adnan Rosli at Sekolah Pendidikan Khas Alma, Bukit Mertajam, P. Pinang. He originally studied at Pusat Tahfiz Kampung Bongor, Baling, Kedah.

The Mysuru-Varanasi Express will become the country’s first Braille-embedded train. The bi-weekly express (Train No. 16229/16230), which chugs out on Tuesday, will leave Mysuru for Varanasi on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
