Said Omar Abshir, Marwo Abshir and Maida Abshir are three blind children in a family from Adan Yabal District, Middle Shabelle region of Somalia. 

It was a very sad for me to see three young blind children in a family as I was welcoming them to the school to register. On the other side the blind children were very happy and having their Eid. Alhamdulillah.

It is yet for them to be admitted as students in the school since they are still young BUT Insha Allah we will take them to the hospital for treatment since they are seriously sick and having health problems. We will as well take them for eyes check up to see if there is any possibility of them to regain their sight.

Wanted - volunteer readers- one hour per day. 
To produce new books in braille we need volunteers to come in and read the books out to Firdaus while he types them out.

Alhamdulillah we have raised enough funds to sponsor the 61 students of this year's Light Camp. Any further funds recieved will go towards the second part of this summer's program for the blind. We will have the Quran memorisation competition to encourage the blind in Gaza to memorise Surah Aali Imran.
