The Al Fitrah Team had the honour of hosting Maulana Shoeb Nakhuda from the Al-Qalam Vision Institute, UK, an organisation dedicated to empowering visually impaired students through Islamic education, including Quran reading, memorisation, and Aqidah.
Maulana shared inspiring stories, such as how a blind student found comfort in the Braille Quran, Alhamdulillah. He also introduced valuable tech tools like magnifier apps and Be My Eyes to support individuals with low vision.
During his visit, Maulana explored Al Fitrah’s collection of Braille books, including the Solat Guide and What the Bible Says About Muhammad by Ahmad Deedat, hoping to share them with his students. To support their mission, the Al Fitrah Foundation donated fifteen diverse titles to the Al-Qalam Vision Institute.
One of the highlights of the visit was Maulana’s admiration of our thermoform machine, which prints diagrams for the Solat Guide.
This visit marks an inspiring step toward continued support for visually impaired learners.
