The Rahman Foundation in Jalgaon, India has printed and distributed to date over 60 Braille Primers to different parts of India. These Braille Primers were sent to selected schools, madrassas, learning institutions and individuals.
Madrassa Al Firasah in Karnaku, Bangalore, is dedicated to teaching visually impaired female students. They study the Quran and the basic teachings of Islam.
The founder and teachers at the madrassa arrange daily pick ups and drop offs. Children are fetched from their regular schools after school hours and sent to the madrassa. After their classes, they are then sent home.
Alhamdulillah through their own initiative, many Muslim students have been able to attend onsite classes at the madrassa and stay steadfast to their faith.
Maulana Qazi and team will start to print the Braille Qurans from Al Fitrah Foundation to cater for the increasing demand of Braille Qurans. Inshaa Allah.
