Al Fitrah Foundation’s literacy initiative for 30 visually impaired students from low-income families at Al Noor Village in Turkey, started on 01.09.2024.
The educational program is customized to the needs of children between 5 and 14. To ensure effective teaching and learning, the children are put in small groups, and four teachers have been selected to teach them.
Al Fitrah Foundation will be funding the educational project in collaboration with Sinerji Foundation, for half a year to assist the students. It covers the following key aspects:
- Providing braille-printed educational materials and compliant learning programs.
- Providing teachers with the capability of instructional practices for the needs of visually challenged students.
- Establishing an inclusive learning environment, equipped with assistive materials.
