On 02.02.24 We moved to our new office. The location is still in Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, close to the MRT Station.
The team familiarised themselves with the new routes to and from the station and are pleased with the new working environment.
We look forward to receiving more guests this year and continuing with work as usual. Here are some of the activities we would like to share with you.
BRAILLE EMBOSSER
Al Fitrah Foundation sponsored another Everest DV-5 Braille Embosser. It was purchased in early January and will be delivered to Rahman Foundation in Maharashtra, India in February 2024.
QURAN SPONSORSHIPS
In January 2024, a sister donated four sets of Quran to visually challenged students in Kedah, Malaysia. The students have since received their braille Quran copies.
In early February 2024, Al Fitrah Foundation received a request for two sets of Quran for a couple of ladies living in the UK. They are part of a group studying the Quran. Alhamdulillah, a donor sponsored the braille Qurans. Insha Allah our sisters will be receiving their sets soon.
COLLABORATION AND DISTRIBUTION
Our Quran project with the Blind Resource Foundation Pakistan (BRFP) is going well. The team has been consistently producing and distributing braille Qurans to visually impaired recipients within Pakistan. Alhamdulillah, many have benefitted and will continue to benefit from the sponsorship of the Everest DV-5 Braille Embosser.
