Datin Syarifah reads every Tuesday, and Liza Shahida on Mondays.
Book of Poems
Datin Syarifah was inspired to write poetry during the Covid-19 lockdown.
There is a poem in her book about the joys and sorrows of a visually impaired person’s life inspired by Majid.
Children’s Picture Books
Liza Shahida writes children’s picture books on various themes, namely, family, friendship, harmony (the Malaysian way of life) and Malaysia's biodiversity.
She donated her picture books for transcription and Al Fitrah will send them to libraries at special schools.
“It is nice meeting authors face-to-face and we hope that more would come over and do the same,” quipped Majid.
