Mike with a New Book!
Our editorial team adds new reading braille materials regularly to Al Fitrah’s library, and it includes titles suitable for school libraries too.
Every quarter, Al Fitrah sends a range of braille books, including story books to special schools’ resource centres.

Meet & Greet @ PERTIS
Abdul Majid and Hilman from Al Fitrah Foundation paid a visit to the Malaysian Islamic Visually Impaired Association – PERTIS recently, for a short get-together session. The Al Fitrah team have on many occasions attended workshops and personal development programmes for the visually impaired organised by PERTIS over the years.
The two organisations will be office neighbours very soon when PERTIS moves to a location very close to Al Fitrah Foundation. The Titiwangsa area in Kuala Lumpur is very accessible as the Light Rapid Transit (LRT) service station is right around the corner. Great for our visually impaired community to commute.
During the meeting, the two organisations discussed common issues and the areas for future collaboration.
Several photographs were taken during the discussion – with Majid and the PERTIS team. It was a fruitful meet and greet visit. Before leaving, Majid and Hilman took a nice group shot with the hosts.
