In January 2022, Sadaqah20 initiative group reported that the Braille Al Qurans they sponsored to a Madrasah in Tamil Nadu via Al Fitrah Foundation arrived in good time to a very happy group of ardent Quran Braille reciters. Alhamdulillah.
In the days leading to Ramadan, Sadaqah20 brothers based in Singapore again contacted Al Fitrah Foundation to assist in providing some relief to a couple of underprivileged families in Kuala Lumpur.
Al Fitrah team contacted two families (with many dependents) in need of financial assistance due to poor health. One family, both parents are not able to work due to existing medical conditions and the children are still in school. Another Family had only one breadwinner while the partner is bedridden.
Al Fitrah Foundation assists the visually impaired to access the Holy Quran and Islamic books through requests received from organisations and our brothers and sisters internationally.
We also support the welfare of the visually impaired communities when the need arises.
