Al-Fitrah Foundation started producing English translations of the Quran last year, starting with Surah Yasin , and then the complete Juz 30. This week we completed the braille version of the English translation of the Holy Quran in full. This runs into 6 volumes , and is available now, Alhamdulillah.
David is a civil rights campaigner who became a Muslim 5 years ago and is the muezzin for a mosque in irvington, New Jersey, USA.
He asked for a translation of the Quran in braille as he wanted to know the meaning of AlFatihah and the surahs he read .
In these photos he is reading the translation of Part 30 of the Quran which Alfitrah Foundation sent him through the Braille Quran Initiative in October last year. Inshaa Allah we will send him the translation of the whole Quran next week, which we completed braillising last week.
